Almost one and a half month ago, we wrote that Ms Ewa Siuba, President of the EMPOL Factory, just took over the permission from Vice President of LSSE, Dorota Giewewska for operate in the Legnica Special Economic Zone, and that short period let them started a construction site of the new factory.
In the first half of the year, a 40,000 m² plot of land in the Zrodla village (1 km away from the current EMPOL plant) was purchased for the new investment. The investment will be implemented in several stages. In the first step a modern production hall will be built, including an automated warehouse and social and administrative facilities with a total area of 8 100 m² with full infrastructure and equipment.
In the second stage, EMPOL plans to build a three storey office block linked by a glass link to the first production hall. The next stage will include the construction of two further production halls for the manufacture of aluminum joinery and finished product warehouse (the total area of planned halls in the third stage is over 4000 m²).
The last stage involves further expansion of the production hall for the manufacture of PVC windows for the next 7000 m² and further development of the following equipment for windows production. The investment is a new stage in the development of the technical resources and technologies used by EMPOL.
The factory is hoping for further development and successes. The investment is expected to improve production efficiency. Improve the comfort of the workforce, and streamline material and commodity logistics
