The surface specialist Continental concentrates on functional and design-oriented materials for the automobile, furniture, construction, and printing industries as well as the Do-it-Yourself branch. The international, globally active company bundled its competence in the surface area.

Continental develops, produces and markets surface materials in the Business Area Surface Solutions with almost 6,000 employees in the three segments of automotive, living solutions, and elastomer coatings at 15 sites in Germany, China, Mexico, Poland, Spain, and the USA, and is represented globally in more than 80 countries with 22 sales offices and representative offices.

Conti® high-performance surfaces from the business unit Exterior were specially developed for outdoor use. As an industrial coating of various construction elements such as windows, doors, garage doors, and façade panelling, they are constantly used. They ideally combine function and design: They are both resistant to weather as well as easy to care for and also have a high-quality look and a pleasant feel. Their modular design is aimed at various substrates, applications, and methods of processing. This allows for a homogenous design theme across the individual construction elements and allows planners, builders, and architects to flexibly react to individual customer wishes.
