For the window profiles coating and the plastic doors, deep black "Jet Black" product is offered in the three different versions of the structure.
Just like in fashion, trends in color and arrangement change in architecture at regular intervals. For a few years in fashion, there are mainly shades of gray and anthracite, used for lamination or covering of window and door profiles. There is now a new trend - coming from the USA: black windows. Continental, offering exterior veneer in a deep black shade which meets current customer requirements.
The innovative black veneer, which Continental has recently presented with its German system provider, reminds US customers of a deep black jet: impregnated fossil wood in the transition phase from lignite to hard coal.
For this reason, we named our laminated film skai Jet Black. Thanks to its extraordinary optics, it fits perfectly into modern architecture, emphasizing straight lines, and is designed for investors, designers and architects who follow current design trends.
Explains Rainer Irouschek, Vice President of Continental at the company headquarters in Weißbach.
The new product is offered in three variants: with a natural, rich in detail wood structure, with a matte sand appearance, which gives the impression of a powder-covered coating and a delicately shimmering version for elegance and style. Such a palette of versions means that for all preferences there is a suitable black shadow, which is able to coat the windows, doors, garage gates and facade elements. FENSTERBAU FRONTALE visitors can admire veneers and other products from the Weißbach, specialist of the surface, in hall 5, stand 202.
Low heat absorption
Profiles with dark surfaces heat up very quickly under the influence of sunlight, because they can reflect only a part of the ultra-red radiation. The remaining radiation is absorbed and converted into a heat. In order to minimize this effect, the company created the cool colors PLUS technology.
Thanks to the 3-layer construction of the PVC-based veneer, a reduction in heat consumption is obtained, especially in the case of dark substrates. Thanks to this, dark colors can be used without reservation even in extremely warm climates, such as India, South America or the south of the United States.
The base of this innovative veneer construction is a white backing film, which is characterized by perfect properties in the field of radiation reflection. On the other hand, the surface layer provides extremely effective protection against UV radiation.
Permanent attractiveness of the appearance
Coated profiles convince with technical properties, because they are resistant, easy to clean and extremely durable. The black surface of the profile, even when exposed to extreme weather conditions, remains color and shape. Therefore it's well-suited for coating the joinery elements.
In addition, the veneer also creates a protective shield for the profile. A guarantee of up to 10 years applies to the cool colors PLUS series of products around the whole world. Thanks to this, investors and residents can enjoy their long-lived plastic windows for years, delighting with their appearance even from a distance: Everything without the necessary perform troublesome work in the field of maintenance or care.
