The Minister President of Rhineland-Palatinate, Alexander Schweitzer, has visited the RENOLIT headquarters in Worms. The Minister President was welcomed by CEO Michael Kundel, Executive Board members Karsten Jänicke and Torsten Maschke and Dr Michael Bätz, General Manager of the Worms production site.
During his first visit to RENOLIT, the Executive Board presented the company to the Minister President. They also discussed the topics of energy costs, reducing bureaucracy and expanding renewable energies. Dr Michael Bätz, General Manager of the Worms production site, then gave the Minister President a tour of the plant.
Michael Kundel, CEO of RENOLIT, emphasised the importance of the visit: We were delighted to welcome Minister President Alexander Schweitzer to our company. The visit was an important opportunity for us to tell him about the challenges that we and other companies in Germany, and in Rhineland-Palatinate in particular, are facing.
Board member Karsten Jänicke added: As a company firmly anchored in Germany as a business location, we believe that our competitiveness can only be secured in the long term if issues such as excessive regulation, bureaucracy and rising energy costs are tackled with determination. We would also like to see more support for the circular economy and the expansion of renewable energies.
Minister President Alexander Schweitzer praised RENOLIT's important contribution to the energy transition and to promoting the local community: Rhineland-Palatinate is a state of innovation and bright minds. RENOLIT shows how successfully business and sustainability can go hand in hand.
