Christian Hoppe takes over leadership of the market leader for door and window hardware
On 1st January 2025, Christian Hoppe, the first representative of the third generation of the Hoppe family, will take over operational leadership of the HOPPE Group, the global market leader for the development, production and marketing of door and window hardware.
Twelve years after joining the company, Christian is following in the path of his father, Wolf Hoppe, and his uncle, Christoph Hoppe, who have successfully jointly led and consistently developed the company for over 35 years, continuing the legacy of their father, Friedrich Hoppe. Both Wolf and Christoph Hoppe will remain involved in the company with positions on the Board of HOPPE Holding AG, headquartered in Müstair, Switzerland.
Wolf Hoppe, Vice President of the Board: I’m extremely glad that my son Christian will continue to combine continuity and change, a pursuit that shaped my work at the company, in which I’ve been active for over 45 years. I know that our value-based and purpose-oriented leadership will guide his decisions as well as mine, and that he will be able to master the continuous change required in company operations on this basis.
Christoph Hoppe, President of the Board: During my time at the company – over 35 years – I’ve always viewed the commitment and innovative strength of our employees as a cornerstone of our success. Our employees were, and remain, the decisive competitive ‘factor’ for HOPPE's ongoing success story. A story that has been written by my father, my brother and me over the course of seven decades with a view to durability and sustainability. Christian has accompanied us and contributed to the work done by my brother and me for over twelve years. Now, I’m looking forward to taking on a strategic function on the Board and to further contributing my experience in a close dialogue with the Board of the HOPPE Group.
