The new collaboration between ift Rosenheim and FTI in Istanbul makes it possible to meet the growing demands of customers in Turkey and neighboring countries.
FTI is making its testing facilities available for airtightness and resistance testing of windows, doors, facades, and building envelope components. ift Rosenheim contributes its comprehensive expertise in building components to the testing process.
The partnership supports system providers and manufacturers of building components and products by offering an additional testing option in Turkey, enabling them to obtain the required test reports efficiently and to a high technical standard.
Pre-Tests and Official Tests
As an accredited and notified testing body, ift Rosenheim will conduct official testing for interested customers at the FTI testing facilities in Istanbul in accordance with Article 46 /49 of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR), which are required, among other things, for the CE marking. This ensures high-quality testing and recognition of the test results. The “pre-tests” conducted by staff at the accredited and notified testing body FTI ensure that all necessary standards are met before the “official” test is performed by ift Rosenheim. This helps avoid delays and makes the testing process more efficient.
Convenient Service Provided by ift Inspectors On-Site
The testing engineers from ift Rosenheim are provided by the partner location ift Rosenheim Hellas. This saves time and costs and enables quick and straightforward on-site testing, making the testing process more flexible for all parties involved.
Currently, ift Rosenheim plans to conduct tests on windows, doors, gates, facades, and closures for air permeability, resistance to driving rain, resistance to wind loads, mechanical properties, and pendulum impact tests.
An expansion of the testing capabilities offered by ift Rosenheim at FTI is planned for the near future. Inquiries and appointment reservations are now being accepted and will be handled by ift Rosenheim Hellas.
